Each day Captain Ken is out on the flats catching bait before the sun comes up. He's produced several videos and taught seminars to local anglers on how to chum up live bait and throw a cast net to catch them. Your successful day of fishing the flats and inshore waters relies heavily on the quality of bait your guide catches. Snook and Redfish often eat a variety of live baits. Ken will make sure you have all the right bait to cast into the best spots.
Shark Fishing
The ocean's ultimate predator likes to hunt where there's a lot of fish to eat. When the Tarpon fill Boca Grande Pass each year, thousands of sharks follow them. Bull sharks are the most common and they will put you to the test! Families with kids love to target these beasts all year long and they can be combined with either inshore or tarpon fishing charters upon request. Family Fun Fishing
You just can't beat a day on the water fishing the family. Trips can be focused on catching fun sized snook, redfish and snapper. These fish are up on the flats and under the mangroves feeding in schools. Perfect for young kids to learn how to find these fish in shallow waters and never lose sight of land. Makes for a very comfortable day for little ones. Ken is a family man and really enjoys putting kids on fish. He often donates his time to events that takes kids out fishing for the first time. The whole family will have a blast and a little time trophy hunting for Mom and Dad can also be included.
Shelling / Eco Tours
If you're looking to just get out the water for a boat ride, this is the place to do it. Not only is this the Inshore Fishing Capital of the World, it's also surrounded by white sand beaches and world class shelling. Grab a Cheeseburger in Paradise on the island that made it famous. Say hello to some local dolphins playing in the wake of the boat as you're on your way to an island to collect beautiful shells.
